STERLING HEIGHTS, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Republican gubernatorial nominee John James has selected state Representative Jay DeBoyer of Clay as his lieutenant governor running mate.
The congressman introduced his pick yesterday to the Macomb County Republican Party, saying he “knows where all the bodies are buried.”
Selecting DeBoyer means the Republican Party ticket for governor, lieutenant governor, attorney general, U.S. Senate, and secretary of state will be all-male for the first time since 1978.
