LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A new poll from Marketing Resource Group shows voters are in favor of Proposal 2 to restrict political contributions from regulated utilities and certain government contractors.
That proposal has 63% support, with 16% opposed and 22% undecided.
Proposal 1 to require a state constitutional convention be held in 2027, however, has just 31% support and 49% are opposed.
20% say they are undecided on that proposal.
The state constitutional convention question is asked every 16 years.
