KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – An 18-year-old man sustained multiple wounds on a shooting incident early Sunday morning in Kalamazoo.
At around 1:00 a.m. Kalamazoo
Department of Public Safety officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Fox Ridge Drive for reports of multiple shots fired. Shortly afterward, a male called 9-1-1 and reported that he had been shot.
When officers arrived they found the man who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Officers immediately provided medical assistance, and the man was transported to a local hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
KDPS says the investigation is in its preliminary stages, and no suspect information is available at this time.
