LANSING, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan’s unemployment rate for June fell by one-tenth-of-a-percent from May to 5%.
The rate has been between 4.9% and 5.1% since June 2025.
The Department of Technology, Management, and Budget says participation in the state’s labor force continued to decline last month.
The national jobless rate is at 4.2%.
