KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Around 5,000 people are expected to converge on the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek International Airport on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Its for the 2026 Air Fair: Red, Flight & Blue and officials say it’s one of their largest community events of the year.
Airport director Craig Williams says it’s one of their favorite opportunities to open the airport and give people a chance to experience aviation in a way they normally cannot.
There will be an F-16 cockpit experience, introductory flights, a Redbird fight simulator, and more.
Over 10 food trucks will also be on hand.
