ST. IGNACE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Today is the annual Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Walk.
The span between the Lower and Upper Peninsulas is closed to traffic from 6:30 a.m. until noon as thousands of people will take part in the tradition.
The walk happens from both Mackinaw City in the Lower Peninsula and St. Ignace in the Upper Peninsula.
People need to begin the walk by 10:30 a.m.
