DEARBORN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – It’s 21¢ a gallon cheaper to fill the gas tank this week than last in Michigan.
Triple-A Michigan says the price has dropped to $4.15, 22¢ more than last month and 91¢ more than last year.
A 15-gallon tank of gas costs $62 on average around the state, up $11 from last year’s highest price in August.
The most expensive gas is in Ann Arbor at $4.27 and the lowest price is in Marquette at $3.97.
In southwest Michigan, St. Joseph County has the lowest price at $3.99, followed by Calhoun County at $4, Van Buren County at $4.06, Allegan County at $4.09, Berrien County at $4.10, Kalamazoo County at $4.12, Cass County at $4.19, and Barry County at $4.20.
