CHARLESTON TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A woman hit while riding her bicycle in Kalamazoo County’s Charleston Township remains in critical condition.
Just before 12:30 p.m. Friday the Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to the area of East Michigan Avenue and South 46th Street for an injury accident involving a motor vehicle and bicyclist.
The 49-year-old female was struck while riding her bicycle eastbound on East Michigan Avenue. She was transported to Bronson Methodist Hospital and is in critical condition.
The accident is still under investigation at this time.
