MATTAWAN, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A candlelight vigil was held last night for the five Mattawan High School students injured and killed in a weekend crash in Texas Township.
Two students, 15-year-old Jordyn Bigham and an as-yet unidentified 16-year-old, were killed when their vehicle left West R Avenue and hit a tree near South 2nd Street around 3:30 Sunday morning.
Injured were Jordyn’s 16-year-old sister Jadisson, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old identified as Liyra Fuller.
Those three are hospitalized in critical condition.
A GoFundMe for Bigham’s family has raised over $62,000, and a GoFundMe for Fuller has raised over $6,800.
