PLAINWELL, MI (WHTC-AM/FM, Sept. 2, 2026) – A motorcyclist lost his life after a collision with a SUV in downtown Plainwell on Tuesday afternoon.
First responders were at the intersection of Bridge Street (M-89) and Main Street, where the crash occurred. The biker was taken to Beacon Health Kalamazoo, where he succumbed to his injuries, while there was no immediate word as to whether anyone in the SUV were hurt.
Plainwell Public Safety has not disclosed many details as to the circumstances surrounding the incident, nor have revealed any names of those involved, as they are looking for the public’s help (269-685-9858) in seeking more information on the matter.
