KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A woman and her baby are safe after a fire at their multi-level home in Kalamazoo’s Edison neighborhood.
The mother threw the baby from a window to a public safety officer, who caught the child, and officers were able to rescue the woman using a ladder to the second floor.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The flames broke out Friday afternoon.
