Sept 29 (Reuters) – Spotify and Anthropic’s Claude recovered after brief outages in the US on Tuesday, according to outage-tracking website Downdetector.com.
The Spotify outage began around 9:30 a.m. ET, with user-reported issues peaking at more than 19,000 before falling to about 1,000.
Reports of problems with Claude topped 10,000 around 10:25 a.m. ET before dropping to fewer than 100.
An Anthropic spokesperson said issues affecting Claude services, including Claude AI and Claude Code, had been mitigated.
Spotify said in a post on X that it was aware of “some issues” and was investigating.
Downdetector tracks outages by aggregating status reports from multiple sources, including users. Actual user impact may vary.
