BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The second Battle Creek Cereal Sale of 2026 will happen Wednesday, August 26th to benefit two Battle Creek nonprofit organizations.
It’s sponsored by Post Consumer Brands and WK Kellogg Company, with each company offering 5,000 boxes of cereal for $2 each.
United Way of South Central Michigan and South Michigan Food Bank will receive the proceeds from the sale.
The three previous sales, including the one held in March 2026, raised over $42,000.
Volunteers from both firms will join United Way of South Central Michigan and South Michigan Food Bank staff members to run the event at Full Blast at 35 Hamblin Avenue in Battle Creek, with doors open from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Leftover cereal will be taken to the South Michigan Food Bank and Kellogg Community College Bruin Pantry.
