KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The National Weather Service has upgraded an earlier Winter Weather Watch to a Winter Storm Warning for Kalamazoo and surrounding counties beginning at 7:00 a.m. Saturday through Sunday morning.
The NWS says the heaviest snow and worst travel conditions are expected Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, with 8 to 12 inches of snow expected.
They say visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling snow.
The Winter Storm Warning includes Kalamazoo, Calhoun, Allegan, Ottawa, and Van Buren counties, along with most the rest of thd southwest border counties.
