PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – A Battle Creek man is facing multiple charges following a drug bust on Thursday in Pennfield Township.
According to the Michigan State Police, The Southwest Enforcement Team (SWET) detectives, DEA, and MSP troopers served a search warrant after a lengthy investigation into a high-level drug trafficker in Battle Creek.
Over one pound of cocaine, a quantity of heroin/fentanyl, manufacturing equipment, packaging, and other contraband were seized.
A 37-year-old Battle Creek man was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine, possession of heroin/fentanyl, maintaining a drug house, and a bond violation.
MSP says the investigation is ongoing.
