DIMONDALE, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Michigan State Police Director Colonel James Grady sidestepped a question yesterday about if he has considered resigning after the troopers’ association held a no-confidence vote.
Grady says he was appointed director in 2023 and “I remain in this position and I will do my best every day in making sure that we keep the state of Michigan safe.”
Governor Gretchen Whitmer has continued to support him even with the backlash from troopers.
The Michigan State Police Trooper Association and the MSP Command Officers Association have filed a complaint questioning his integrity.
