KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Chief David Boysen says investigators do not yet know if 17-year-old Markii Robinson Jr. was the intended target in his shooting death this week.
Robinson was walking with a group of people who had longstanding disagreements with another group that opened fire on them Wednesday afternoon.
Boysen is urging people to not retaliate and allow officers time to investigate.
The stolen vehicle that was used in the shooting was found burned in Richland.
