FREDONIA TOWNSHIP, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as deputies try to find a 47-year-old man who went missing Sunday.
Dale Higley walked away from a home in the area of 15 1/2 Mile Road and J Drive South in Fredonia Township around 3:00 p.m. yesterday after suffering a seizure and was disoriented.
The Sheriff’s Office says he is five feet, ten inches tall, weighs around 150 pounds and has brown hair and hazel eyes. Higley was last seen wearing an orange Cedar Point T-shirt, blue jeans, and no shoes.
A Michigan State Police helicopter was deployed to assist in the search and has since cleared the area. Mr. Higley remains missing.
Residents are asked to review home security systems, doorbell cameras, and trail cameras for any possible sightings. Police says at this time, there is no danger to the public. Law enforcement and emergency responders continue to actively search the area.
