WASHINGTON D.C. (WTVB) – President Trump’s DOGE-related spending cuts have been approved by the Republican-controlled House.
The White House used a rarely-used procedure that recommends Congress take back spending it has already approved. Among the Republicans voting in favor of the cuts was Michigan 5th District Congressman Tim Walberg
The bill now heads to the Senate where its fate remains unclear, but it cannot be filibustered.
