BATTLE CREEK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The second Battle Creek Cereal Sale of 2025 will happen Friday, June 13 to benefit three Battle Creek nonprofit organizations.
It’s sponsored by Post Consumer Brands and WK Kellogg Company, with the companies offering 10,000 boxes of cereal for $2 each as part of Battle Creek’s National Cereal Festival.
United Way of South Central Michigan president and executive officer Chris Sargent says the collaboration between the two competitors shows the power of partnership in supporting the community.
Volunteers from both firms will join United Way staff members to run the event at Full Blast at 35 Hamblin Avenue in Battle Creek, with doors open from 2 to 4 p.m.
There is no limit to how many boxes people can purchase.
The year’s first sale in March raised over $16,000 for the community.
Proceeds will benefit The Haven of Rest Ministries, United Way of South Central Michigan, and Women’s Co-Op.
