KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety has identified the person killed in a fiery rollover crash Christmas Day in Kalamazoo.
KDPS says 36-year-old Edward C. Hinga III rolled his vehicle around 2:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of Gull Road before it burst into flames.
Officers extinguished the fire when they arrived, and Hingas was found ejected from the vehicle.
The road was closed down about two hours for the accident investigation and clean-up. Police say speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
