KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety officers arrested a wanted man inside Bronson Methodist Hospital Thursday afternoon, March 30.
Authorities say the 32-year-old was taken into custody following an earlier incident when both KDPS officers and Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to arrest the man around 1 p.m. But the suspect fled in a vehicle and evaded officers.
The suspect’s vehicle was spotted a few minutes later near Bronson Hospital.
With the help of security, it was determined that the suspect had entered the hospital on foot. The man was found 15 minutes later inside of the building and taken into custody without further resistance.
