BATTLE CREEK, MI (WNWN/WTVB) – The Hungry Howie’s Pizza store on Columbia Avenue in Battle Creek is going to be closed for the next few weeks after a SUV crashed into the business on Friday night.
Store management reported on their Facebook page that no one inside was hurt.
They added, “but at this time we will have to work towards fixing our building and store from the damage. We will be closed for the next few weeks or however long it takes to repair our store. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.”
A store employee told WWMT-TV the driver of the SUV had a medical emergency and passed out before crashing into the business.
