KALAMAZOO MI (WKZO AM/FM) – Kalamazoo Public Schools officials have announced that the district will once again offer parents the option of virtual learning for the next school year.
KPS has been the lone district in the county to offer the virtual option for the current school year.
A spokesperson for the district said that the announcement was to give parents a choice, whether because of health concerns, or because their student has shown that the virtual route has been beneficial.
Parents are advised that once they make the choice of virtual learning, they can move their child back into in-person learning at a trimester break…but if they choose in-person from the beginning of the year, they cannot move into virtual learning.
